Community Group Programs
-- Peer groups helping victims become survivors --

For 18 years Family Support Line has offered healing from the pain of child sexual abuse and a place where fear and isolation disappear. Our professional group leaders build a safe place for the work of healing. Participants learn that they can move from victim to survivor.

  • Groups meet for a fall and spring session in Delaware County, Pa.
  • Transportation may be available and babysitting is provided.
  • Children's groups are free.  There is a sliding scale fee for parents.

  • Parents Support Group: The primary objective of this group is to create a safe and supportive atmosphere where members may experience and share the many emotions and reactions associated with child sexual abuse. Members are given ample opportunity to grieve the losses created by the sexual abuse, discuss the unique difficulties of parenting children who have experienced this trauma, and receive support for addressing their own emotional issues.
